Possums is such a clean, wholesome film about a small town high school football program, the Nowata Possums, that is ended after over a decade of not scoring a single touchdown. The team’s announcer fills the town’s need for high school football by announcing fake games. As the excitement for the fake games builds, trouble ensues when the team wins the fake state championship, and the actual winning team shows up to challenge the Possums to a game to determine the real state champions.

My absolute favorite part of this film is the touchdown scored by the Possums and the fervor of the team and fans after scoring that single touchdown.
